Working with Teachers and Education Providers

COACHING tEACHERS AND eDUCATION pROVIDERS

 

An increasing number of the clients I work with are teachers seeking to regain balance, rebuild clarity, and rethink the direction of their careers. Many come to coaching not because they no longer enjoy teaching, but because the stress, emotional load, and impact on their home lives have reached a point where something has to change.

Through these conversations, I realised that countless talented educators were contemplating leaving a profession they once loved, not due to a lack of passion or ability, but because they felt overwhelmed, undervalued, or stretched beyond what is sustainable.

I have also noticed that these challenges rarely occur in isolation.
Teachers often describe:

  • feeling guilty for stepping back from work, even when exhausted
     
  • struggling with confidence when considering internal promotion
     
  • uncertainty about next steps when thinking about their future
     
  • a loss of identity when moving into new roles inside or outside education
     
  • a lack of time and space to reflect on what they truly want
     

These are not personal failings.
They are common experiences within a demanding profession whose wellbeing pressures continue to grow.

My work with teachers and education providers focuses on three core areas:

1. Mindset and Confidence Development

Supporting teachers, leaders and support staff to rebuild confidence, strengthen self-belief, and navigate career decisions with clarity and purpose.

2. Career Clarity and Transition Coaching

Helping educators explore new pathways—whether progression within schools, leadership routes, or careers beyond the classroom—while honoring their skills, values and identity.

3. Wellbeing and Resilience Support for Staff Teams

Working with schools, trusts and HR teams to improve staff engagement, reduce burnout risk, and create psychologically supportive working cultures.

Teachers deserve spaces where they can reflect, be honest, and feel supported without judgement.
Schools deserve staff who feel energised, confident and aligned with their work.


My aim is to support both.
